Export Script Manual Installation (for Lock-On: Flaming Cliffs 1.1x)
If for any raison the automatic scripts installation for Lock-On does not work, you can try the following manual procedure:
Copy the three files config.lua, export.lua and TacviewExportFlamingCliffs.lua
into \Lock On\Config\Export\ folder.
If you use additional software like LOTATC
then copy only TacviewExportFlamingCliffs.lua into \Lock On\Config\Export\ folder.
Then add the following command at the end of your current export.lua file: dofile("./Config/export/TacviewExportFlamingCliffs.lua")
What are to most important known bugs?
Actually there is no known hang or crash.
Here the most common bugs list. They will be fixed in coming versions depending on their gravity:
- Events displayed into the flight log are not always correct
- Units (planes, tanks, ...) go through mountains sometimes
- Unit orientations are not always accurate
The following problems are related to Lock-On and are not ACMI bugs:
- Unguided weapons (bombs, rockets and fuel tanks) are not visible in the ACMI
- Unit orientations are not always accurate
What should I do if I find a bug?
The first thing to do when you think you have found a bug is to ensure that you are using
the latest version of the ACMI as well as for your drivers and all related tools.
Also ensure that your computer matches or exceeds the minimal required configuration.
Then check that the bug is not already officially known by looking at the preceding list and in corresponding forums.
If, after verification, you are sure you have discovered a new bug, then send me an email containing:
- Your precise hardware/software configuration (include OS type and version)
- The full description of the problem
- The way to reproduce the bug
Do not send me flight record before I request it.
If, after examination, your bug is officially acknowledged, it will be taken into account and
fixed in the next version depending on its gravity.
