Export Script Manual Installation for DCS World 1.2.3

If for any raison the automatic scripts installation for DCS World 1.2.3 does not work, you can try the following manual procedure:

Step 1 - Install Tacview Script

Copy the script TacviewExportDCS.lua in the C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\ folder.

Step 2 - Declare Tacview Script

If the file C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\Export.lua does not exist, create an empty file.

Open C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\Export.lua and add the following line at the end of it: local Tacviewlfs=require('lfs');dofile(Tacviewlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/TacviewExportDCS.lua')

Step 3 - Enable Data Export

Open the file C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS\Config\network.cfg

Set the following variable to true: allow_object_export = true

About the empty (1 KB) acmi files

NOTICE: In network games, the host must set [allow_object_export = true] in [network.cfg] in order to allow Tacview recording on clients computers.

Export Script Manual Installation for DCS: A-10C Warthog 1.x

If for any raison the automatic scripts installation for A-10C Warthog does not work, you can try the following manual procedure:

Copy the three files Config.lua, Export.lua and TacviewExportDCS.lua into \DCS A-10C\Config\Export\ folder.

If you use additional software like LOTATC then copy only TacviewExportDCS.lua into \DCS A-10C\Config\Export\ folder. Then add the following command at the end of your current export.lua file: dofile("./Config/export/TacviewExportDCS.lua")

Export Script Manual Installation for DCS: Black Shark 1.x

If for any raison the automatic scripts installation for Black Shark does not work, you can try the following manual procedure:

Copy the three files Config.lua, Export.lua and TacviewExportDCS.lua into \Ka-50\Config\Export\ folder.

If you use additional software like LOTATC then copy only TacviewExportDCS.lua into \Ka-50\Config\Export\ folder. Then add the following command at the end of your current export.lua file: dofile("./Config/export/TacviewExportDCS.lua")
